Remote Area Dive recognises that sometimes things don't go to plan, weather is not kind, the kids get sick or simply work won't play the game and you can't go diving for whatever reason. We have devised this policy to help you out:

Booking Conditions

Doing a Dive Course?

  • $150pp booking deposit required to secure any bookings
  • Payment in full is required at least 5 days prior to course commencement
  • Full forfeiture of deposit if cancelling within 7 days prior to course commencement or if training manuals are used
  • Full forfeiture of course price if cancelling within 48hrs of course commencement
  • Full forfeiture of monies paid if course is not completing within 12 months of initial deposit. Exceptions are ADF personal on overseas deployment.
  • Partial refund/rebooking will be offered if cancellations are due to medical conditions upon presentation of a medical certificate.
  • RAD reserves the right to cancel trips due to adverse weather conditions.  Rebooking, referral or partial refund will be offered.

Please note that for all intensive purposes, all courses (inclusive of Advanced Open Water and Rescue Diver Courses) begin on the Monday prior to your weekend Ultimate Safari trip.

Coming for a Fun Dive?

  • $150pp booking deposit required to secure any bookings.
  • Payment in full is required at least 5 days prior to trip departure.
  • Full forfeiture of deposit if cancelling within 7 days prior to trip departure.
  • Full forfeiture of trip price if cancelling within 72hrs of departure.
  • Full forfeiture of monies paid if trip is not taken within 12 months of initial deposit.  Exceptions are ADF personal on overseas deployment.
  • Partial refund/rebooking will be offered if cancellations are due to medical conditions upon presentation of a medical certificate.
  • RAD reserves the right to cancel trips due to adverse weather conditions.  Rebooking, referral or partial refund will be offered.

Where any refund is forthcoming as highlighted in the booking conditions RAD will refund monies owed less any costs incurred by the company.  These may include:

  • Training manual costs
  • Finance fees incurred by RAD for the provision of interest free goods
  • Travel expenses if incurred by RAD

Returns Policy

 Remote Area Dive will exchange any goods purchased at our store with a valid receipt (within 30 days of purchase) and providing the goods are in a resalable condition and are not used. Goods can be exchanged for equal value goods or greater, any differences in balances are payable at time of exchange or given as store credit if selecting a product with a lesser value.

Fees & Charges

RAD charges a 2% surcharge for MasterCard or VISA purchases and a 4% surcharge for AMEX purchases.
