Why become a nitrox diver?
You're an air only diver and you pay $200 for a boat trip out to dive a shipwreck in 27 metres. You realise your No Decompression Limit (NDL) is 15 minutes. That works out as about $13 a minute.
You're a Nitrox diver and you book the same boat trip, but this time you have Nitrox 36. Your NDL is now over 30 minutes, bringing your cost per minute on the bottom to about $6.50. But cost is only one part of the factor, You can now spend another 15 minutes on that wreck, the wreck you've dreamed of diving for years, that you'll only get the one chance to dive. How do you put a price on that?
This is just one of the many reasons to dive nitrox. You can use nitrox to increase your conservatism, by simply using nitrox but leaving your computer set to air. You can adjust just about any mix to suit the depth you're planning on diving so you always maximise your NDL. Then there's the benefit of using nitrox over multiple days of diving and helping to control that inevitable accumulation of Nitrogen in your body, maximising your NDL and controlling your risk levels over many days of diving.
If this sounds like common sense to you, well it is to us too. Here at Remote Area Dive, we believe every diver should be a nitrox diver, so that's why we include the course as an option on ANY dive you are doing.
Our Deal - book any course or any dive with us and pay only $199 for the nitrox course to be bundled in with it.
