You're doing a shore dive, 300m out from the beach and you notice your buddy unresponsive on the seafloor. You're not sure what's wrong with them, and you don't know what to do.
This is one of many scenarios you're trained to respond to in the Rescue course. Here at Remote Area Dive, we focus the rescue course on how to avoid ending up in situations like the one above, such as good practice analysing gas, diving within your limits and spotting issues in our buddies before it becomes a problem. But sometimes things just happen and that's where our instructors, all experinced divers with hundreds of dives under their belt will be able to give you real-world experience, some of them drawing from real rescues they've completed.
You will find this course thoroughly challenging but immensely rewarding and brag to your friends about it for quite some time - because we will make you work for it!
The course is two days duration with a pre-study period and will visit both the pool and ocean to simulate real challenging environments, like the ones you will encounter
